The RT-100 was developed for the US Army and has a LOS range of greater than 7 miles. The RT-100 transmits packetized data at 115.2 Kbps at UHF. This design is flexible and easily modified for other data rates and frequency bands. Interface is via a simple RS-232 serial interface.
Provisions for an optional internal GPS receiver are included in this radio.
